First time here during covid. Maybe change later
My friend and I consider ourselves pretty hard to impress. However, that being said, Grace O' Malley's is by far the most authentic Irish pub I've been to. (Other than Ireland) The food was perfect. The whiskey cocktails tasted smooth as could be. The beer? Some of the best Guinness combos, and darker craft beers.
Great food, atmosphere, and wait staff. The wait staff on Monday night 3/29/2021 were all fantastic. I had the fish chips asked for substitute for chips. The best sauteed garlic spinach I had in a while. Took my shipmate there for a going away last hurrah before he was deploying to Japan. We thoroughly enjoyed our crush beverages. Will definitely visit with my friends from the ud83cuddecud83cudde7.
The customer service was awesome. Our waitress was funny, very attentive, quick to do refills, personable. The food was fantastic. Portions were more than enough for one. Great experience all around.
If you're looking for the best dinner and drinks at a not upscale dining price, this is the spot in downtown Norfolk. As a former Bostonian, this gives some Irish pubs up there a run for their money. All the food is well prepared, and the place has an extensive beer selection. Gracie happy hour (solid $3 local lager) is one of the best in town.
