This place is amazing! We went over there last year and had the chance to meet the owner, who is an amazing woman, so welcoming and knowledgeable. You feel like you are family, it's a small vineyard but a step closer to heaven. Beautiful sunsets, service was great, wine delicious. We took some bottles to try at home as well. They have an indoor area where you can see posters with its history and all the awards the place has won. We had a great afternoon here and would definitely recommend. We live in Northern Virginia, it takes a few miles to get there, but the trip is worthy.
I love this place and do not get to visit as often as I should. It has amazing views and very peaceful and relaxing and the owner has don't a great job with the place and you can tell she has a passion for it. I highly recommend visiting and spending some time here and just take it all in.
My favorite part was the live music... it made the experience very peaceful.
Lovely weekday spent at the winery. One staff member working inside and taking very disciplined COVID precautions, wearing mask when we arrived and cleaning hands between every interaction. There are nice outdoor tents on the deck and a beautiful view.
If you are around Winchester or are conquering the VA wine trail from DC, do yourself a favor and stop at Twin Oaks. The wines are good, and the views and winery are amazing! This is the place to snuggle up with your loved one and take that selfie on the deck, or go all in and land that philly over a couple glasses of wine and a nice vista. Give it a shot - what do you have to lose? Besides, there is a fox ready for the pandemic and dressing dapper than you ever will.
