Scruffy Murphys

We went for lunch on April 13. The music, especially the bass was VERY loud. We asked the waiter if it could be turned down a little or we would be willing to leave. He said he would check to see if it could be done. He came back and said it could be done 2 notches. We ordered lunch and the music went down a little and within a couple minutes was turned back up. I went up to the bar and asked them to tell our waiter we would be eating outside. It was very chilly outside. Eventually we got our meals. He never checked back with us except to bring the bill. This was not one of our best experiences. We did tip him 20% even though it really was not earned. I am sure this is not what you wanted to hear

Multiple service failures. Table of 6, only 2 meals were delivered so we waited quite a few minutes to see if our friends would get their meals, and by then our food was cold. Our waitress never returned to see how our food was, so we finally flagged down the manager to check on the rest of the meals and have our food warmed up. A few minutes later our waitress came over and explained that somehow only one check had been submitted (we had requested separate checks) and that the kitchen was expediting the other 4 meals. The manager returned with our meals warmed up and offered a small dish of salsa and chips while our friends waited. He knew what had happened; he should have had the kitchen remake our meals so all 6 could have been served together. Instead, we ate, and our friends waited another 20-25 minutes for their food. So much for expediting. When we finally asked for our checks, we asked our waitress if anything could be comped due to the delays, and she proceeded to argue with us because there was nothing wrong with the food. She should have gone to get the manager, it was inappropriate for her to argue with us. Realizing that they had no intention of doing anything for us, we gave her our credit cards. The manager was the one who came back to return our credit cards and just told us to have a nice day, he never apologized for the problems we had. We will never go back, there are plenty of other restaurants with better service.

There used to be this big burly lumberjack type guy with a beard...I think his name is Alex? I haven't seen him in a while, but I hope he is well. I've been thinking about his beautiful beard for quite some time....nnNot only was he a great bartender, but I never once saw a single crumb in his beard. That is dedication.

Great service! The wait staff works together as a team so you're always being checked on. The food is the reason for the 3 stars. Calamari was soggy not crisp at all. My meatloaf reminded me of a lean cuisine meal and my friends hamburger was so dry he couldn't even eat it

My wife and I went there for the first time a couple weeks ago. She got the Shepherds Pie and I the Ribs. Both meals were outstanding. The ribs were so tender, they fell off the bone on pick up. The staff were very attentive, the prices are very very reasonable in comparison to other places around. We were very amazed at the quality and the value we received. Now this will be added to one of our go to places to eat and drink.
