True artisan. We had collectible playing cards framed for my husband. It was a tricky job, we weren't sure how we wanted it to look. Took them to Anika and she went ahead and created a masterpiece from our collection. the project was completed prompt and exceeded all expectations! Anika Ferguson is a top notch Artist, Framer and a Print Restorer. Anika has reframed numerous vintage prints from my art collection.nnShe is friendly and always listens to what the customer wants. I recently purchased a large vintage 1920 art print with a calendar pad which was never framed. The print needed a full restoration. These vintage large art prints with calendar pads were rolled up and stored in mailing tubes. This naturally causes creases and if hung paper loss.nnAfter meeting with Anika and explaining what I wanted, she wanted to do some research.nnAnika’s research was outstanding. She determined how to iron the print so it would lay flat. Dry mounting a vintage art print lowers the value, and that was something Anika wanted to avoid.nnAnika was able to do a full restoration of the print without using dry mounting. She always uses the best acid free backings and mats. She was also able to lightly touch up the art print using professional art pencils to tone down the creases and areas where the print had color loss. Her technique does not lower the value of the art print as it’s not done with permanent ink.nnI was so impressed with Anika’s work from start to finish. You can’t notice any area on the art print where any restoration was done. The art print lays flat and turned out PERFECTLY!!! The professional framing and custom cutout matting was outstanding!nnIf you are looking for the best Framer and Print Restoration, look no further.nnAnika is simply the best and I would trust her with any job - large or small including high value art for Framing and Restoration!
