There were no birds for sale, as he is awaiting a shipment.nAlso no cages, same reason.nI think this place has a good reputation, or I'd have given it a zero.nThe guy behind the counter (old, sort of grizzled) wasn't even the least bit friendly. He acted like I was there to steal stuff, or otherwise wreck his fine solitude.nI had gone there knowing there were likely no birds, but wanted to establish myself as a future customer and fellow bird-lover. I was hoping to begin a friendly conversation with a knowledgeable seller who could steer me toward the best bird for my situation, and then sell it to me!InI was also wanting to know how the place was run - if it was clean and bird-friendly and a source of guidance, or just a place to buy birds, period.nI left in a hurry. I told him I'd be back, and felt stupid saying it because clearly he didn't particularly want me to.nUgh.nI feel sorry for the birds.

I visited this place during the Oct. Firestorm. The owner was so nice. He didn't charge me for several items cuz he just wanted to help. Only negative comment would be that he is very low in stock items.

What a wonderful place. It was like walking through a small zoo. The birds were all friendly and talkative. the donkeys were really cute. Much to my surprise there were 2 emus. Also several very friendly goats. Larry, the caretaker/ bird expert/ and very helpful guy behind the counter was very sweet and kind. We came looking for a bigger cage for 3 parakeets that someone gave us and Larry found us the perfect one. It's a great place to go for a bird, a cage, a donkey or just a friendly conversation with Larry. I have become a great fan.

Joy in my heart ❤ufe0f Watching these funny little animals. Wish I could take one home with me. My boyfriend wants a few too ud83dude0a Did you know these furry little fellas carry up to 250 pounds? Larry the owner (friendly guy) says they live to be 25 years. Awww ... time to get a ranch!
