The older gentleman here was having a horrible day or something. He is pretty rude and cut us off mid question to shush us because he was too focused on pouring a drink at our table. If you can’t handle pouring a drink and listening to a question, then at least be nice about it. Either he didn’t want to be working or he didn’t want us there. We closed the bill out the second after he did that. It was more than him cutting us off, he just had zero friendliness and personality.
The rudeness was unbelievable. Ive never been treated so bad in my life. What a shame. It used to be such a great place to visit
Ordered a salad with grilled chicken, asked for no cheese because I am lactose intolerant, person on the phone taking my order sounded so upset that he had to punch in a custom order, also I asked for balsamic vinaigrette, but when I got home they gave me no salad dressing. I don't know if this was intentional or if the kitchen doesn't pay attention. Wasn't worth going back just for the salad dressing so I just had to eat a dry salad. This is the second time they have left out my salad dressing. First time I was treated rudely on the phone.
The French Onion soup was spectacular but the Shepard's Pie could have used much more seasoning.
Clam chowder is wonderful. I felt like Comfort Food, not having had breakfast. The Shepherd's Pie did the trick. Served by the hardworking, efficient and pleasant Chris. She works in the bar and attends tables outside. I'll definitely return!
