Sure, it isn't the cleanest place in the world, but the food is delicious. The bartender who is there every year I go is super funny and nice to talk to. Ask about the shooting gallery behind the bar. Cool history there.
The people are very nice but we were definitely not a fan of the food. We got two separate dishes but the seafood topping all came from the exact same mixture regardless of what you ordere . Seems like it is just all cooked up in a big crock pot and then thrown over each dish. It wouldn't be bad if it tasted good but it didn't unfortunately.
One of the best places I have ever eaten. I've been in the food business in Dallas for 20 years. They are truly under rated. Why there isn't a line around the block to get in, I have no idea.
Really neat owner and lots to look at. Had the lobster lasagna. Really good!
