Ulster Savings Bank

I love the human-centered approach of this local bank. I always feel like a person, not just an account number or a dollar amount. I've been banking with them for almost 15 years and they have always exceeded my expectations. We also have our mortgage with them and our home and auto insurance.

The people who work here are courteous and pleasant to do business with. Speaking as a sometime pauper, they obviously don't care how much money you have in your account -- and after all, they mostly are not bankers, they are salaried bank employees. Ulster Savings retains the flavor of a local business in an era of rampant corporatization.

This is the best bank! All of the branches have wonderful tellers and service!
