Man of Kent Tavern

The choice of food and varying dishes these guys offer are sure to please everyone. I had the fried scallops, and while they weren't scorching hot, they weren't cold either. I imagine my plate was done first, as my date's food came out steaming. My scallops were cooked perfectly, and the fries were excellent.nnWould definitely go back next time I'm in the area

Superior service, excellent atmosphere.nnThis is only my second time to The Man of Kent (first one was 5 years ago); the same hometown vibe is there.nnMake sure you try the chicken wings!

Everytime we come home from Vermont, this is a required stop. Styled after an English Pub, the place is more of a museum of artifacts from people's attics. Plenty of interesting stuff to look at. I'm guessing the owner is a big golf fan since there is a Masters flag for every year for at least the past 15 years.nnIt appears to be a locals bar, but everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Staff is always nice and service is great.nnThey have a great list of local beers and a very extensive pub and sandwich menu. I always have trouble deciding between the East Kent and the West Kent sandwich. No one ever leaves hungry.nnIf I had to pick one fault, it would be the pickle they serve with the sandwiches. They are never any good.nnCan't wait for ski season to begin, and a visit to MOK !

Just discovered this place 2 weeks ago. Love it. The food is delicious. The staff is cool and helpful. Its where I fuel up on the midway point of my trip home from skiing from now on.

I ordered the Tavern burger, medium cooked and it was cooked perfect! I have to say the best burger I've had....and I am picky about my burgers and I have had some really good ones...but in my opinion this was the best...juicy, full of flavor. The fries were great and I don't typically eat fries....fun atmosphere and friendly staff. I give it 5 stars. Wish I had photos.
