Dr Ali made me come into the office to pick up a note during the current Covid-19 pandemic!!!! Something that could’ve been emailed or told over the phone was not possible!!!!nnI’ve absolutely had it with this doctor! I’m an overall healthy person with asthma and eczema. There’s no reason for me to be in the doctor’s office every 3 months but this man will NOT refill a prescription unless he’s seen you in person every 3 months. It used to be every 6 months which made sense. Maybe this practice is industry standard I dk but for the length of time I’ve been a patient I would think an exception could be made here and there. OR maybe give me more then two refills every time I do come in. I really think it’s because he needs to charge your insurance company for a visit so there’s that. I don’t understand how one can be a patient for so long and the doctor won’t even make an exception for you. It’s always “come into the office.” I have a very busy life I can’t go into the office that often!nnHe’s operates like we’re back in the 90’s. Still writing physical prescriptions. No online access to records. No online access to request refills. Every other doctor I visit including my daughters pediatrician has this feature. It’s unreal. Then the front desk gives you a hard time whenever you need a refill and sometimes (not all the time) they’re pretty nasty on the phone. It’s a joke. I have asthma! Im prescribed 2 inhalers! I’ve been going to you since I was 15 years old so for over 15 years! There is no reason to not refill my inhaler bc maybe I’m 2 months past the limit! It’s the same damn inhalers every month, plus Flonase and some eczema cream! Nothing concerning!nnBut yesterday was the last straw. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, I needed a note from him regarding said asthma. My husband is a first responder and to protect me and our daughter we needed a note from him stating a I had moderate asthma so my husband can be put up in other accommodations and doesn’t have to come home every night after a shift at work. Asthma is one of the pre existing conditions that makes one more susceptible to severe illness due to covid-19. He made me come into the office in person for this completely non essential visit. He could have simply emailed the letter. So I go into the office, he makes me go into an exam room after other patients have been there, nothing was sterilized, he puts a stethoscope to my chest, gives me a letter and sends me on my way. I called the office back after I left bc I really needed specific language in the letter (which was only an extra word added) and he was very rude to me, cutting me off and not letting me speak. Then he had the nerve to try and charge me for this “office visit” I contested it with the front desk and was told I wouldn’t have to pay but we’ll see in a few weeks if I get a bill. If I do I’m calling the insurance company to contest! Completely ridiculous!nWhy would you have me come out of my house for this? Putting both myself and your own staff at risk! Then you don’t even provide me with what I need and on top of it try to charge me?!?!? You could’ve easily told me you wouldn’t write the letter over the phone.nnLaziness and complacency on my part has kept me coming to this doctor. But not anymore. I have great health insurance I don’t need to put up with this cheap doctor anymore and I won’t! He’s done getting money from me and my insurance company

I want to know if anyone has reported this Dr. Or this office to the medical board or to whom it may concern because if I'm having the same problems then it is obvious that the bad reviews are not working. This Dr. Needs his license suspended or taken. For one I'm a diabetic and he told me that my neuropathy is most likely psychological. I will be taking this further.
