A very chill, classy, and welcoming home base for adventures in the Catskills. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Great common area that blends a quiet library atmosphere with boardgames and pool. Love the nightly s'mores fire, and terraces with a great mountain view. Prospect Restaurant is quite good.
Great design, beautiful and comfortable room. Had a really excellent risotto & cocktail for dinner. Excellent service overall. Definitely a great hotel for either skiing in the winter (across the street from Hunter) or as a weekend getaway the rest of the year.
The views are amazing
This was our second time staying at the lodge . Lodge is nice . Rooms are average at best. Restaurant on premise ( prospect) is quite good and has great staff. The front desk staff were not very friendly. They seemed quite busy looking at the computer screen all day ( even though the lodge was empty) . Overall it’s an ok place to stay but not worth the price.
We had a great two night stay at Scribner’s! The staff was super friendly and we were impressed with the covid precautions that were in place on the property. There are a number of fun activities: we used the skating rink and outdoor sauna. The restaurant was great too. We had every meal from there. They had a ton of options and the food was really high quality.
