Osaka Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

We absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Osaka! Now, it is a very busy place on the weekends because it is so yummy and fun! So plan accordingly. The sushi and appetizers are delicious and it is worth the wait. The owners are doing their best to accommodate when busy but like I said it is totally worth the wait. Great place and service!!

We were in town from AZ and we had been dying to go to a Japanese steakhouse. We decided to try Osaka and we were NOT disappointed. We ordered 2 hibachi chicken dinners and a crunchy California roll. Food was served quickly and portion sizes were HUGE. Our server was so polite. Don't skip this place! They are also reasonably priced. The hibachi chicken dinners alone were around $15 but they have you the clear soup, salad, and your main dish.nnThank you for a great experience!

The food was great but it took my friend and I two hours to receive it. We had a 6:30 reservation for a hibachi table. We were seated right away then didn’t see anyone for 15 minutes before our drink order was taken only after the rest of the table filled in. Two other grill tables were filled after we were seated and had a chief come out right away. Not a single member of wait staff acknowledge the fact that we were there for two hours and three different tables arrived revived food and left before we received our food. Then we were told maybe come on a weeknight when it’s not so busy for better service... what kind of apology is that?

Very good sushi restaurant. This has an awesome family friendly atmosphere with decent prices. Presentation was great and service was on point. I'd give this place 10/10 if google would let me.

Last night was the second time we went there. We took our whole family this time and had an 8pm reservation. It was about 8:30 PM and we still had not been seated. There was a family in front of us who was there probably half an hour prior to us getting there and they had not been seated yet either. There were two grills open, but we were told there was a high-paying customer coming in who did not have reservations and they had to keep those open for that high-paying customer for whenever they decided to get there. I understand that a high-paying customer has a little priority, but that’s ridiculous to not even have a reservation and make other people wait like they did to us. We were told at 8:30 we would be waiting another hour to be seated yet. A party of 20 was seated prior to us getting there (without a reservation). The hostess was very nice. We were told that the manager over books every weekend and this basically happens every Saturday night. So your best bet is to not go there on Saturdays at all, or probably Fridays for that matter (even with a reservation). I was really disappointed to be treated this way. My husband and went to this restaurant another time, and it was ok. It was a 100 degree day outside and their air conditioning went out, so it was extremely hot, so we just started that off a little negative anyway. We really want to give this place another shot because there are great reviews, but this experience was very disappointing, so I’m not sure we will try it again.
