Unfriendly compliance indicator signage.nWas immediately threatened with violence and ordered to obey. They were telling me I needed a compliance indicator 3 feet away from a table of people elbow to elbow shoveling food into their faces not wearing compliance indicators. Did not even get to try any food. Do not encourage this place. They had no problem being insane and inconsistent. If you give them money you are approving this behavior.
Best service I've had in awhile. Drinks were a nice pours, burgers were outstanding. The appetizer & food came quickly. VERY impressed, we will come back. I would highly recommend the drive to Shelby to visit the Brown Bear. Great job team! ud83dudc4f

My family came here off a recommendation and we're very glad we did. Great little hole-in-the-wall bar with awesome food and a very friendly staff. Portions were generous and prices were very reasonable. Will definitely visit again!
Their burgers are the best! I have eaten there twice now the first time got the burger and fries and the second time the open faced philly cheesesteak sandwich with chips. The burger was better the the philly but both good and the fries with a cajun seasoning on the side was excellent and the chips were awesome!
