I just received my two new paddles today. They were specifically made to accompany my 1939 Old Town Canoe. They were made of the same design and pattern as the originals. They are simply magnificent. If you want something special that will be an heirloom, Shaw & Tenney is the call. Thank you!

If I could give 4.5 stars I would have but my new oars are so beautiful that I decided to round up. There was misunderstanding about wait time. I was told x number of weeks for my oars but was later told x number of weeks to 'start' the oars. Either way, now with oar in hand, I couldn't be happier. I strongly recommend them. It's not often, upon close inspection, you see a flawless handmade item.nCommunications were very prompt when I was inquiring about wait time.

I was extremely pleased with the engraved canoe paddle that I ordered as a gift to a friend. Steve was very patient and communicative as I asked him many questions, and Sam who handled the engraving was sure to ask me plenty of clarifying questions to make sure my order was just how I wanted it. I'm very grateful to Shaw & Tenney for their above-and-beyond customer service and for their help in creating a high-quality and beautiful gift for a friend.
