Traveled 2 hours north to pickup 3 pieces of furniture that my mom had purchased. Had never been to this Marden's, but just coming into the store, it was clean, bright and very well displayed.nHeading into the furniture department, I met Stacy and told him I was there to pickup a recliner, couch and love seat for my mom. He was very professional and him and another employee did all the loading offered to secure the load. Very happy with my whole experience at Houlton Marden's.
Love this place not only do they have fine clothing for the family but also material yarn buttons etc for my crafting needs. Could spend hours in there. Not another store like it!
I upgraded my initial rating. I found clothing for larger men like myself. I also found sugar free cookies that I have not been able to find in other stores. There is a lot of new merchandise in the store this week. The toy section is expanding for Christmas shopping, and the festive holiday displays are up and looking good. It was a productive and pleasant visit today.
I always get a pleasant response when asking where things are, they usually take me right to it if they have it. The store is clean and organized.
This store had a large selection of items and it was by far neater and more organized than the other two Mardens stores I've been to. I was very impressed and I highly recommend shopping here.
