Chicago Paragliding

Went paragliding for my anniversary, had an amazing ride with Andria! We caught some nice winds and everyone in the paragliding community are fun! 5 stars and would recommend to anyone!!

My son just graduated from high school. We decided let him do some fun thing this summer. We came across a half price deal online for Chicagoparagliding. I emailed and called them to make sure it is a valid deal before I buy it. They responded promptly and answer my questions clearly. It is such a GREAT and exceptional experience for him. He loves it. The pilot is very knowledgeable and friendly. It was very windy and pretty cloudy today. It wasn’t an ideal situation. But the pilot managed to do a smooth launch and perfect landing. Everything is safe and smooth. The pilot was in control of everything in the sky. At some point, I can’t see them from the ground because they were inside the cloud. When they reappeared in the sky. They did a flip turn in the sky. I thought the wind was too strong and I was scared. After landing my son told me the pilot asked him if he like to do the flip turn. He agreed, then the pilot do it for fun in a safe and skillful way. The pilot even let my son do some steering in the sky. There were some crew members on land to help the launch. There were some other paragliding enthusiastic people there who talked with me and my husband while my son has his 20 mins flight in the sky. They are very friendly and helpful. My son was holding a Gopro during his flight. The pilot promised to make a video and will post it on Chicagoparagliding facebook page. I am looking forward to seeing the video.nOne thing I want to mention; there isn’t any sign or physical building for Chicagoparagliding. We used our GPS, arrived there on a cornfield half an hour earlier. We are lucky that there was another pilot from Florida who is not related to them waiting there to meet them the first time. So we know where it is. The people from Chicagoparagliding arrived on time and set up everything quickly.nOverall we had a great experience and it is well worth the one and half hour trip to drive up there to fly. I think the money is well spent, consider there are many people involved and this sport requires great skill, experience and knowledge.
