I recently received a insurance settlement from a car accident and realized when I received the check that it was written out to both the bank lien holder and me. So I walked into the bank to deposit this check into the Principal balance of what I owed in the vehicle which was close to 11k since I had already repaired the vehicle out of pocket. So I sat there waiting for a banker to assist me 20 mins later THERESA TERRELL approached me and Invited me into her office. From first impression she seemed a little off edge the way she was clanking her heels while walking hard or maybe it was me overlooking everything . So after waiting an additional 5 mins in her office while she went to get a drink she asked what I was in for I explained that I didn’t want to cash the check all I wanted was to deposit the amount towards my principal and pay the remaining in cash so I can finish the paying the vehicle off. She aggressively took the check and demanded additional paper work. I repeatedly told her that the claim for the repairs was only settled and that’s all the documentation that was provided to me. She got really Agitated and said that the back office wouldn’t approve and couldn’t help. I then pulled the claim on my website and tried to show her that I was lying... she then raised her voice at me and her face turned RED like she was choking. I couldn’t believe that she was talking to me like this and ask her kindly not to raise her voice. She started to push the paper around and shows signs of aggression I then asked for a branch manager and she said she was the highest employee to speak to. I look at her business card and asked again she then said she was the assistant manager. After that she walked out told me to wait outside until the branch manager was free to help me.nnFinally Parth the manger showed up I explained everything I demanded an apology from her but I guess he couldn’t convince her for whatever reason. He then took my paperwork and processed the transaction. I asked one more time for an apology and he said that he speak to her and it’s been a little over a week I have t received anything from that branch.nnI don’t no if it was my background, or the color of my skin, or the way I carried myself that turned this depressed woman off but for a person in her position she should be a bit more respectful to customers. This was a bad experience from the minute I met her her. I need a apology from her I will take this complaint alway up to corporate office and won’t give up until she does so.

I have been a loyal and 5 star customer with fifth third for about 3 years now. During my time banking with them I have gone through numerous experiences where my card was eaten by the ATM and or cash. Numerous app and banking errors. And twice where the ATM ate the cash that was deposited. Also had an instance where a bank teller accidentally forgot to ring in an additional hundred that I was trying to deposit inside the bank branch, where I had to go back and question her. She admitted to the mistake and redeposit the correct amount of money...but it was $100 mistake that any customer could have easily looked over and it would’ve been a tellers‘s fault..! After being a loyal customer and going through all these traumatic and time consuming experiences I still tried to give fifth third the benefit of the doubt. Until today. I had broken my phone and had no way of knowing that my account had overdrafted due to auto payments. And fifth third refused to give me a complementary waiver even after waiting on a 15 minute hold and being hung up on the first time by the agent. Horrible way to treat a loyal customer who has dealt with all of their flaws, And they couldn’t even consider appreciating and giving back a little. It’s sad to say that after these long years I will be closing my account with Fifth Third due to their inconsiderable decision. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy!!

The drive the very slow, and rude to customers. Customer service is defiantly a F rating. Simple withdrawl customers who came after me left before me. Never to come back here again.
