I recently ordered a cardinal carving from Jon. It was more than I expected! There was so much detail in the carving. He took the natural detail of the wood and used it in the color of the cardinal. It was amazing to see how a simple piece of wood could be transformed into such a beautiful work of art. Talking to him about the process made his work even more special. I have purchased beautiful writing pens and used them. Also gave the pens as gifts. His carvings are magnificent. I have a big Panda Bear that warms my family room with a smile. Smaller Praying Pandas adorn the house as bookends. We will be taking down a tree in our yard and hope he will do something special with this wood will will have left from downed tree.
Jon made me one of his signature Cardinals that I will be giving as a gift for Valentine's Day. It looks amazing! The craftsmanship and attention to detail of the Cardinal shows how much pride he puts into his work. I highly recommend!!
