Beacon Behavioral Hospital

so, i was a resident there once. and i gotta say, it was great. like, honestly, i didnt wanna go home at first. it was the same routine everyday and i liked that. it is probably the best place to send your kid, to be honest. but it had some downsides. there was kinda strict rules, a little TOO strict, but it was overall a good place.

i give this hotel 5 stars but they didnt let me leave when i wanted kinda odd they also put a random person in my room

As a patient at beacon it was a great experience and helped me a lot idk what your kids have told some of y’all but it was pretty good for me all the people there were so nice and everything.

My 12 yo daughter went here in July 2020. She has abandonment issues from her biological mother, who chose crystal meth over being a mother to my daughter, and lost custody at 5 months old. My daughter vaguely remembers her since she stopped coming to her visitations after a few months after a couple years in court. I then got together with my now ex-wife who was a great mother to my daughter from 2 years old until about a year ago after our divorce. I let my ex wife adopt my daughter because it was what they wanted. They were best friends. My ex-wife got quickly remarried and called and told my daughter she was going to start a new family. She refused to take drug testing so she has not been able to exercise her visitation for a year now. Roughly 6 months after that and in the middle of cash bid my daughter started cutting and lookin up ways to commit suicide on her school computer. The school quickly called and I had her to the er immediately. After tons of research, Beacon behavioral hospital seemed like a good fit. Was I ever right! The staff is amazing. Great communication and extremely knowledgeable.even when they didn’t know. They worked with me to find out the answers to all of my millllllllion questions. My daughter got exactly what she needed for them. 6 months later, and after weekly therapy. She is back to the same loving confident child she has always been. I attribute probably half of this to beacon and the skills they taught her and the ways they did it. Being a single Das is a tough job and I just wanted to post this to tell people that beacon is not a medicate and kick them Tj the curb in 3 days kinda place. They actually care.

My daughter enjoyed her time at this facility. The staff was more than helpful. I don't understand the bad reviews. She had nothing bad to report. Communication with the staff was clear and I could call and speak with anyone anytime about her.
