Let me preface this by saying I hardly ever leave reviews. Food was great, ambiance was great, the service was horrible. Absolutely horrible. It’s almost like they went out of their way to slow everything down as much as possible. When we walked in, we waited 10 minutes by the front door while the staff stared at us and seemingly hoped we would leave (nobody else was waiting/tables were open). Once seated, our waitress (friendly) would come to our table every 20 minutes. The bartender also had no care in the world. Drinks took 25 minutes to come out even though he was standing around socializing.nnHaving extremely slow service does not make you trendy, hip or unique. Customers enjoy timely service.

Other reviewers had a bad experience with the service. We went on a busy night and the service was excellent from the host to the bart tender (we sat at the bar) even other members of the staff were checking on us.nnWe were not crazy about the appetizers. One of them (ud83eudd90) they totally forgot to add salt so we asked for some and was a bit better.nnThe ud83cudf55 was very good. But I wished the cheffs would have worn gloves to manipulate the doe (kitchen is visible) only due to the current pandemic situation (they do wear ud83dude37).

I visit Marfa often and this was not my first time here for dinner and drinks. First off the decor is very nice and the food was good. My complaint is with the service. We were left at our table for 20 minutes before anyone took our order for drinks and food. We arrived at 8pm and didn't receive our food until 10pm. They actually forgot to put our food order in until the waitress asked how the food was and I mentioned we hadn't received it yet.

This was a great stop on our trip. Gorgeous bar with excellent service and amazing food choices.
