Outstanding restaurant with well made food. Staff were attentive and helpful. The Giant burger was tasty and filling. Our server suggested the risotto adding steak and chicken. So delicious! Very nice courtyard, giving a romantic time gone by feel. Very nice.

Nachos are great! A lot of food and great value. The drink selection is also exceptional. The service is exceptional, the bartender makes good conversation, has interesting stories and makes a killer margarita. I will continue to come here. The Hotel itself is beautiful as well.nn11-06-2020 Update: Called a day before to ask about making a reservation, I was told that it would be tentative and to call the day of to confirm. The day of the dinner I called multiple times and no answer but they did have a voicemail with instructions on how to confirm or request a reservation. So I confirmed my reservation for 8:30 pm for four guests. We were staying at a cabin in Fort Davis so we had a 30 min drive to Marfa. We walk in and tell the host that we had a reservation for four at 8:30. He responds that everything is booked for the night and my name was not on the list. I explained to him that I talked to Jason on Thursday and confirmed on the answering machine two hours prior to arriving. He was very rude and did not make any effort to help. I explained that we drove to Marfa specifically for dinner and I did make a reservation. I also asked that he check the answer machine which he didn't and blew me off. I asked if we could sit outside and he said that wasn't possible. At least make an effort to rectify the situation but nothing was done to help except tell me to go eat somewhere else in town. What made this situation worse is that it was an anniversary dinner. I have visited this restaurant several times and stayed at the hotel as well. I have a room booked later in December but now I'm second guessing my decision and might change hotels. Was the food good all my prior visits? Yes. Was the service good prior visits? Yes. This experience was very disappointing , an absolute mess and gross incompetence.

Let me preface this review by saying I am a very generous tipper. Usually 20% and more for excellent service. 15% for poor service. And only once in my life have I not tipped a wait person.nnI know these times are hard but I was left with a sour taste in my mouth for more than one reason at Jett’s Grill.n1- The menu online was not up to date.n2- there was no notification that 20% gratituity is added for to go orders.n3- my salad had old wilted lettuce in it.nnI usually tip 5-10% for Togo orders. My reasoning is, if I am not sitting down, having my order taken, food brought out to me, table cleared, drinks refilled, etc. I should not be paying a 20% tip. And if you are charging for tip, that should be told up front.nnSo why two stars, the chicken and mash potatoes were good. Nothing else positive to say about this establishment. Have no plans of ever returning.

Although we waited an hour for our food I recommend the chicken burger. Taste great.

The courtyard area was absolutely beautiful and the food was top notch. Doubt I will be back in Marfa, but would definitely stop by here again.
