This was my hangout spot for good wings when I lived in Irving and still is. The seating has changed a bit because of the pandemic, but nevertheless, still a great place. Our server Abby was GREAT!! She's very attentive, has a great personality, and provides excellent service. I'm not sure why the negative reviews...maybe it was a busy day or service was not up to par, but I have always received good food and quick service. Well done Abby!!

Me and my wife went for drinks. we were seated behind a wall and a waitress never came to serve us after 20 minutes I took it upon myself to order our drinks from the bar when I went to the bar and ordered my drinks the bartender said sure coming right up then proceeded to start restocking the bar while I was at the bar my wife says a waitress came to serve the guys next to our table looked at her and completely ignored her after 30 min of no service we walked out not even to be noticed...worst service ever

I'm so torn because while I do love Hooters and they have made changes due to the pandemic, I still do not believe they are adequately staffing the kitchen for a lunch hour Rush. I was seated and from the time I was seated to the time I received my order of wings, extra ranch, and no fries was about 45 minutes. I was only one sitting down at my table and I was in somewhat of a time crunch because I had somewhere to be. I didn't think it would take that long and I got to thinking I wonder how people that have to return to work handle a situation like this so if you're here to eat lunch and you're at work I strongly advise that you avoid this place. I think if I had a little bit of a heads up that service is extremely slow during lunch time (even with less walk-in traffic) I would have avoided this place and gone somewhere else. this is not a place for a quick bite, even if it's one of their most commonly ordered menu items. The wait staff was nice but the kitchen was what ruined it for me.
