I've been twice and both times the meat was INCREDIBLY dry and tough. You can tell it was old and had been reheated. (beef the first time, chicken the second) The jollof rice was good though. Both times they were out of meat pies.

Lovely restaurant, good food! Don’t be in a hurry when you order in or take out good food takes time to cook. Staff is friendly. Overall, try the moi moi its da bomb!!

I am completely disappointed and dissatisfied!!! The Lola's food I know doesn't taste this way at all..the STEW no longer taste the same. Same goes for the jollof rice/fried rice. The goat meat used to be well seasoned and fried but no longer....Please Lola do something about your food!!! Bring back the old recipe that you are known for.....

After driving 2 hours around the metropolex, trying to find African cuisine, we settled on this place. Overall, the rice, Egusi and fufu were delicious, the goat was tough and pieces on my tray were full of fat and hard to chew. The wait was long and that I don't mind because these aren't fast food places but I was disappointed in waiting such a long time and the meat being tough or take our money for whole fish only to be told later, there wasn't any more fish.nnBeing from Killeen Texas, I was disappointed on how hard it was to find African cusine near my son's area that had a full menu or as advertised. However, I'll try Lola again and hope for redemption.

It is so hard to find good Nigerian food in Texas, but this place is amazing. The jollof rice, fried rice, and stews are so authentic. Definitely recommend. It was great.
