As usual the Faust did not disappoint. Maddie was our server last night and she did amazing! She was the best! I did not know what I wanted to drink and she knew exactly what to get me after a couple quick questions. Go try her “Gatorade” so good! My husband had a couple different beers and he really enjoyed them. To start we had the Conchitas, and it was so good!! I had the Faust wurst Wellington with onion straws! I loved it! The sausage was perfect! It wasn’t super condensed and tough it was tender! My husband had the chicken kababs! We loved all of it! I always enjoy walking around the hotel and looking at all the memorabilia! We will continue to go back for years to come.

From the food to the service and the ambiance and architecture, the Faust surpassed all of my expectations. It started with the service, which was fantastic. Our server/bartender Nikki was awesome, full of energy and very kind. She even made my girlfriend a cocktail from scratch which turned out great! The food was awesome! I had the “Faust Wellington” with sauerkraut and fries with beer cheese dip... hands down some of the most authentic German cuisine I have had in New Braunfels. It paired perfectly with the Polka Pilsner which was also great. I will definitely be back!

Old brew pub at the bottom of a historic hotel. Maddi talked me into a couple of pint flavors and some fine potato Perogies for supper. Very nice.

Absolutely wonderful little pub located in a hotel with delicious food. Everything me and my girlfriend ordered, from the craft beer selection to their menu was phenomenal. Full bar and they made our green tea shots perfectly! Service was a little slow, every table inside was full and it seemed like maybe they needed another server staffed to help handle the rush, but our waitress was on top of her game and helped our experience be amazing! The Mediterranean hummus appetizer platter is a must order!!!

Food is always great here. Some of the best souvlaki I’ve had outside of Greece. Seriously, the chicken kebabs are insanely good. So is the French dip and the salads. Artichoke dip appetizer was star of the evening. The beer is alright but we end up ordering german beer (warsteiners) which come in proper glassware.nnOverall, we love this place and all it’s charm (good and bad). This place will always feed you and give you beer, even when the other places nearby have hour and a half wait times. Never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a seat here, ever. And food is always surprisingly wonderful. We always come back and the service is always nice, even when they’re overwhelmed. We love it here, hopefully you will too.
