No wonder should ever use this hospital. Staff is rude, but most importantly; THEY DO NOT CARE, except about the bill. But not about you, your family, the outcome, or anything except money. I cannot stress enough that this hospital is far below a decent standard. My father died in this hospital, and that wasn't their fault. He was dying. But making it the worst experience of my adult life was definitely their fault.

Do not take your family member here if they suffer from Dementia. They are not prepared on how to deal with people who have this disease. My mother was admitted due to a fall the nurse in the emergency room was awesome and made sure my mom was well taken care of. I cannot say the same after she was admitted and had room. Instead of setting my mom up with a catheter so she would not get up to go the bathroom they had her hooked up to a SENSOR so everytime she tried to get up it would go off confusing and upsetting her. I had to request to have the doctor call me since I had not heard from the doctor since the day she was admitted. Plus had a nurse yell at me that I need to keep my mother in her bed or chair obviously upset because she had to keep coming in the room since my mom kept setting the sensor off. Keep in mind that sensor will go off if she just barely tries to get out of the chair or bed. We will not be going back to park west in the future if it requires an overnight stay never had an issue like this with one day surgery at this location.

Up until now my experience with Parkwest was pretty good. That all changed recently. I was admitted to the hospital due to a kidney stone with hydronephrosis, something that is very painful. But the hospitalist is not taking my symptoms seriously. My pain is not being controlled and it seems like no one cares about my symptoms. I also feel discriminated against because I have a rare disease and because I’m young. I used to think this was a good hospital, but not anymore.

Well no one enjoys preparing for a colonoscopy but glad mine is over with. The people in the GI lab at Parkwest Hospital yesterday we're so very friendly and personable and made the experience as quick and stress-free as they possibly could. I left with great news and high regards for this staff. My doctor is Dr. Steedman Sarbah. They don't get better than him.

The most professionally run hospital I've been to. Bar none.
