St. Anne Hospital

There was no waiting when I got there- told them I was having chest pains and they immediately got me back to a room - the hospital was really clean- people were really mice. They had me hooked up to monitors - IV etc in what seemed like just minutes. Really impressed. Everyone wore protective gear. Next emergency - hopefully there won’t be one - I will go here. On the way out I used the main restroom and that was supernClean too.

When I first arrived at reception/sign in three ladies were standing around, talking. I had to try twice to get their attention. Unfortunately, the ER was crowded and people had to wait over an hour to be seen. Triage went well.nThe doctor was kind and understanding. He believed I was in serious pain from sciatica. X-rays were taken and showed no significant changes to my spine, if any. I was given two pills and two prescriptions. I did remain in pain for most of the night.

Absolute disaster of a place. While I was in a room in the ER, waiting for a physician to talk to me about some test results, I went to use the restroom. When I returned they had already turned the room over thinking I had discharged [you can't check the paperwork?!]. Clinically they did nothing for me. I was having an allergic reaction to food but they refused to listen to what I was telling them.nThe next day I called to confirm that they had my billing information correct because I didn't have time to grab my insurance card when the medics got me from my home. The person I spoke with said all of the information was correct. I received and paid for the provider bill and didn't think to babysit these yahoos.nWell, then nearly TWO YEARS LATER they send me to collections. Not once did I receive a statement from them [how can I get the other bills just fine but yours someone never make it????] nor did they ever give me a phone call or send me a letter or anything.nWhen I got the collections notice I called to find out what was going on and why I had never received any statements. The person I spoke with had me repeat my address a couple times. Put me on hold and when she came back said that they had sent me statements and initially said she said they had been sent to the wrong address that I had corrected after the visit to the ER, then she back-peddled and said they had sent them to the correct address. Overall, she's lying. I told her that they are running a terrible business, I'm going to pay the collection agency the discounted rate and it's unfortunate for them as they're going to be getting even less money than they would have had they run a considerate business.

The staff at St.Anne’s of all levels are great from those I have interacted with. The level of care from different departments and hospital employees is truly felt and very much needed in this world.

It was a quick and easy procedure. And everyone was very professional. My thanks to all the staff they are very well trained as well as very helpful.
