We normally sneak down to North and grab this fabulous Bbq once or twice a month. So good,we wanted to share it with our friends and family for our wedding anniversary party. 20 minutes from the restaurant, the food was still hot and everyone raved about it... best kept secret in North!
Hole in the wall success! We were out making a random Craigslist purchase and needed food. Found this place and were glad they were open on a Sunday. Food was FANTASTIC. Nothing from a can or box here. I don’t even eat country fried steak and theirs was amazing.
Absolutely phenomenal! What a hidden gem. Price is perfect and food is fantastic. Everything was hot and fresh. Hash, bbq, fish, grits and shrimp all had great flavor. Salad bar is fine and desserts are delicious and the icecream is a treat for the kids. For sure cant wait to go back. Owner is very friendly and talkative. Seeing the old pictures of Main street Columbia is a nice touch for being out in the country.
Down home cooking at it's best. The staff is friendly and polite. The fried chicken is the best I've had in forever. The hash is Second to none. Such a Family friendly restaurant that they feel like family. Get there early on Sundays.
This is pure southern food. Do not go for atmosphere. Cheesiest southern mac and cheese on the planet. Amazing fried chicken and pork chops. Plenty of veggies and baked chicken also available.
