Mountain Room Bar

IDK what the bad reviews are about, sounds like some people were just having a bad day when they stopped here. We ordered breakfast and pancakes. These were the BEST PANCAKES I'VE EVER HAD. I even mentioned it to Cynthia, our server, and she agreed. They're so fluffy and buttery. We had a margarita at 9:30am and it was so good lol. Anyway, enjoyed the food and the drinks and our server was nice so again, I don't understand the bad reviews.

This restaurant is conveniently located beside the gate I needed to be at to fly out and the sign said it was open at 6am so I decided I would go here for breakfast. I had been here since 1:30am so at 5am I went for coffee at Starbucks and slowly made my way back to this restaurant for 6am. There were a staff already in the restaurant before 6am but at 6am I saw more staff walk in and start wiping down tables and setting up. I waited 20 minutes until they opened the doors(not really a big deal since I wasnt in a rush but doesn't make sense to advertise a certain time and then not open at it). I was the first person in and was served my drink quickly and my food came out fast which was nice. But my food came on a paper plate with a plastic fork and knife on the side. Now I'm wondering to myself if I'm at a restaurant or a backyard BBQ. I got an omelette and it was good, the toast was barely toast but that wasn't what the main part of the meal was anyways. I got two beers which were the panther lake porter and Alaskan amber which were both good and then ordered the gimlet as my final drink (my server was going on a break so I had to settle up but I was leaving in an hour anyways). I'm a little bit confused about the gimlet as I am not the BIGGEST gin drinker but I do know it has a very distinctive taste especially a double in a short glass but my drink tasted like a single vodka 7(I would know because I drank enough of these when I was 20). Very strange. Maybe next time if I ever come back here I will sit at the bar to see how the drinks are made. I would say this isnt an awful place if it isn't busy or short staffed. Maybe don't come with high expectations and you won't be disappointed.

Ordered old fashioned, was good. Ordered fries and chicken strips. When the food arrived, put down and the waiter says, chicken and fries. I asked my wife, do you see the fries?? Wouldn't seek this place out.

Sat down at a table that Hadn’t been bused for 10 minutes. Had the server look me dead in eyes and walk on by without a damn word. Nope. Not a single red cent to that establishment.

If you want good service and good food don't bother stoping here.
