I have to completely change my review on this place. They have been highly helpful lately, and they always have what I need. I could complain about higher prices, but I understand that they are a private business and they need to make money. I was very glad to meet the new staff and see how the previous ones improved. They are all very nice and always know how to help me. They got rid of the aggressive attitude that they had about their business before, and have become one of my favorite fish stores. Good job aquarium outfitters!
OVER priced for the worlds smallest frags. Basically everything is insanely overpriced. Also was very surprised to see employees sitting behind the counter not wearing a mask and the employees walking around the store not wearing masks either. (One guy covered his mouth with a bandanna once he started talking to us.. classy.) I haven’t seen that many faces in a year lol I guess they figure since the customers wear a mask, they don’t have to. Who knows. Definitely will never go back because their prices just simply aren’t worth it. Better off ordering online.
I would give it 4 Stars but after a little more thought I'm giving it a three. It's definitely not a 5 because it is pretty overpriced. There are hundreds of breeds of fish, but they also sell other species of animal. They have amazing care for their animals but the building is pretty old and beat up. It could use a remodeling or a deep clean with a little renovation. Great place if your looking for exotic, healthy, large fish though!
Building is very warm to keep the fish comfortable. They have beautiful fish and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend them!
I was so excited to check this place out. I called this store to make sure they are enforcing the mask mandate, as I am high risk, and didn't want to waste my whole day driving (i live an hour away). The person I spoke with on the phone assured me they do, and I should come on out. As soon as I open the door, no more than an hour and a half later, I am greeted by a mask-less employee sitting behind the counter! Needless to say I turned right around and went home.. why not be honest and say you don't actually care at all..??? I won't try again.
