Great experience at Applebee's.nnFor social distancing, they have every second table closed. Menus are provided via a QR code on the table, but they also provide a small menu of their location specific specials.nnMy wife's meal was a small steak with loaded mashed potatoes. The loaded potatoes was the best part of the meal IMO. My burger was good too. They had a special where the deep-fried shrimp was $1 with any steak.nnThe waiter attended the table well, and at least one staff member was always available to get us condiments and refills when needed.nnOur whole meal came out under $40 with tip.nnMy wife and I are already planning our next visit.
This place has great food for the price. Half off appetizers run happy hour. However, the service is very slow even though it has four tables in the whole restaurant. Manager not greeting anyone just walking around doing nothing. Come in for cheap food and take it home enjoy yourself better there!nI purchased the pub pretzels and cheese and of course they're overcooked and when I asked the server itzel, she would not take them back and said they were fine.nI will say the bartender Miko was very concerned about the over cooked pretzels that he took them back and gave me a free steak dinner. I paid for the steak dinner cuz I'm not looking for handouts only an honest review!nIf you like or agree with my review please like it for me!!!
Food is okay. It is what it is. I did takeout just after they opened their dining room and they were not following the posted policy of taking temperatures. The guy who handed me my food had his nose hanging over the top of his mask. At least Corporate acted concerned. Unlikely to return to this one for a very long time. What restaurants need to consider is that this level of ignoring sanitation suggests that the kitchen also plays fast and loose with sanitation.
Only rating 1 star because I cannot rate it a 0.nWent to pick up an order and the very unfriendly staff kept assuring me it would be out soon. 30 minutes later, after giving the order information multiple times, a manager said the order had already been picked up. Nobody had to courtesy to check with me and figure out the problem, they all looked past me until I was the only person who still needed help. Very unprofessional. Will not be returning ever.
You have to love Applebee's - for what it is. When other restaurants are closed, they are open. The salmon is nice and you can always have a great drink with your meal after a stressful day. It just first the spot sometimes when you want the casual bar and food experience.
