Our family has been enjoying the St. John since it was located around the corner. The food & the atmosphere never fails to impress! The crab cake is always a must! Not many places will the owner stop by your table to greet you & thank you for visiting. The new location has plenty of parking and wonderful views of the Bayou Teche. Normally I would have pictures of the food but our most recent trip we dived right in before we could take any!
We had very lovely lunch at a very reasonable price. The service was friendly and informative. We all had seafood dishes and the seafood was fresh and flavorful. The roasted corn grits were a delicious surprise. We were well pleased.
This place is amazing! My family and I found this gem of a place, while looking for a place to celebrate Mother’s Day. The steak is to die for and the fish dishes are amazing but most of all the staff and owner are amazing. Even though we make an hour so trek there, it is worth it.
Our first time there. Seafood gumbo was very tasty and full of seafood. Golden snapper so tender and flaky. I loved my crab cakes, some of the Best. We had a wonderful waitress too.
At the first moment you come to this place the stuff gives you a nice feeling. Very courteous team, it is a nice place to enjoy with buddies or with your date. delicious food, experienced chief cook and stuff, competitive pay and courteous service. Highly recommended.
