Atmosphere and employees could not be rated higher. I did not like the high prices when they first opened, but revised my original review because they are much more competitive now. I find things I cannot ignore on their weekly deals now
Traveling thru this area and decided to check out this store. It's a clean store, with a great location. The staff was super friendly, customer service was on point in all departments. Unique items thruout the store! Thanks Rouses for providing a great experience!
This is a nice, clean store; we were pleased with our shopping experience.nWe were making what I call my loop trip from south of Houston, through Sabine and around through Cameron Parish, (very sad to see what the storms had done to the area) a couple of months ago, and found Rouses Market. We stopped and found Tasso, something that I had been wanting to try using for a long time, but in not available locally.
Ran for a few things, found them easily. Short wait at checkout but went fairly quickly. In and out pretty quickly.
More selections compared to Wal-Mart. Prices are a bit high but quality is better. My only complaint was the wait time in line. To many customers and not enough registers open. Nice enough cashier just wish she paid a little more consideration to her bagging of items.
