Clayton was amazing to work with!! We had 5’ black vinyl fencing installed, workmanship was excellent, the guys were super polite and a joy to have around! Highly recommend Iron Mountain Fence company!!

The guys were so professional and great customer service. The job is great, looks just like we wanted. The design and where things were going go were explained before hand to me. Can't say enough good things about the guys. Thanks Brian for a great experience.

We closed on our home in Blairsville on Sept. 11. I had previously met with Clayton and Brian from Iron Mountain before closing to recieve a quote as we have 3 dogs and needed a fence asap. They were able to give me a rough estimate on site, but we didn't sign anything yet because we wanted to make sure closing would be successful. We ended up closing and everything was fine. I called the office again to see when they could do the install. Clayton and Brian came out on Sept 23 to give a final quote w/ install details. I ended up signing the contract that night and we were told the install would be 6 weeks or less.nnWeeks went by with no word. I called Brian and the office to try and get a hold of someone. Brian called me back and informed that they had ordered our wood and should be able to do the install within the next 2 weeks (this was now the middle of October). Those weeks went by with no word as well. I called the office and was told that Clayton would give me a call. He called me back the next day and informed me that Brian no longer worked there and he honestly did not know what was going on. I informed him that Brian had mentioned our wood had been ordered. He agreed stating that they did have our wood but were a little behind. He would not give me a date or range of dates for the install.nnAfter this conversation, I called him every Wednesday to see if there were any updates. Everytime there was another excuse as to why they were still behind whether it be the weather, Covid, etc (keep in mind that Covid has been around for 8 months now). I called the week before Thanksgiving and told Clayton that I really needed this fence installed before Thanksgiving day as we were having family come and would have 6 dogs in our home. He told me he would try to work that out. On Nov 25th, the day before Thanksgiving, his crew shows up around 9:30am. They ended up leaving around 2pm due to light rain (mind you they left all of their tools and wood just laying in our yard). We called Clayton to express our concerns. He told us that his crew would be back tomorrow to finish. Thanksgiving day rolls around and his crew arrived around 8am. They were there almost all day, but while they were working, our internet line was cut and we do not have cell service at our house. We called Clayton and he informed that he couldn't have it fixed until Monday due to not have the correct patch kit. I work from home so I had to take a day off since we did not have internet. The gates were installed on Nov 30th and the project was completed.nnClayton called me 2 weeks later asking to settle the contract. I informed him that I was home and he could come by whenever. I met with Clayton on Dec 16th. I asked him if he honestly believed his price was fair for everything we went through (no communication, time line was not in compliance w/ contract, his crew leaving our yard a complete mess, cutting the internet with no reconnection for 5 days, digging up part of a termite treatment, etc.) He told me he believed it was all fair. I was disappointed in his answer because while there are no issues with the fence itself, I do believe we deserved some sort of credit for all the trouble and stress this was. I paid him in full due to thats what I signed for but I am not a happy customer.nnI will not recommend Iron Mountain Fencing to anyone, ever. It was a horrible and stressful experience. We chose Iron Mountain to begin with because we had heard how great they were and their timeline matched ours even though they were the most expensive quote. There is nothing wrong with the fence itself but it was not worth the 0 customer service and 0 communication. I understand that we are in a pandemic but all I ever asked for was to communicate with me. I was always the one who had to call and follow up. No one is proactive at this company to inform their customers of the current situations. Please do yourself a favor and pick a different company if you need a fence.

We used Iron Fence company to set up a fence for our dogs, they were very professional, the installation was perfect, they worked quickly and obviously were very experienced. We’ve already recommended them and will continue to do so!

Clayton and Iron Mountain Fence was recommended to us by local friends and from the first call to the final product was outstanding. Our fence was installed in a timely manner. Amazing work by Clayton and his crew. I highly recommend them for all their hard work. I will definitely be using them again for our next fencing project for our horses.
