Nice doctor. But horrible nurses and staff took three weeks to get paperwork done. Never answer your calls. I had to get the paperwork done finally and send it out myself. Do not go there. This place should be shut down.

This office has been helpful, inexpensive, and while there is a wait to be seen even if you have an appointment the staff is absolutely wonderful. This is a great location to receive medical care, Dr. Melinda Brooks has been amazing and I hope people take the negative reviews with a huge grain of salt. These are medical professionals, they are absolutely qualified, and their service is greatly appreciated by me and I will be coming back.

Disgusting. I came here with my mother and it was a fight to get a referral. The doctor requested it be sent ASAP but it was never done. The whole staffed almost ganged up on me and my mother because they should’ve sent in a referral a week prior but hadn’t done so. They used “referrals take a while to send over” excuse. Firstly, they don’t I know because I work in the medical field. Secondly, it doesn’t excuse their tone and rudeness. Up until the doctor came to the front desk this lady went “you know what the doctor is right here let’s ask her” all confident up until the doctor told her “it was supposed to be sent a week ago, send it now” and the doctor apologized. That’s when they all decided to be quiet and do their job. The patients are the reason they have a job, the audacity these women have to treat people with such rudeness.

Dangerous!!!!! Be careful ! I went there to tell her my complaints that her assistance had written whom taken my complaints. After reading she then tells me she lost the one her assistance written. And that she had to rewrite. And then ask me did i see it somewhere she layed it. I say no. After i told her my complaints. The New (1) she written was Nothing as to what i told her. And then given me the medcine for what she had written. As to what something i did not tell her. If u visit there. Be Careful!!!!

I am extremely aggravated with the patient service I have been receiving. My initial problem occured when I had scheduled my first appointment. No one had informed me that my doctor had went to another location to fill in for another doctor that day. So when I got to the Bermuda Medical Center, they told me that the doctor was at another facility and that I had to drive to another facility for my scheduled appoinment. I had let that problem go and decided to move on. A few weeks later I got a call from Edwin at Bermuda Medical Center, who left a voicemail regarding my lab work. I called back at the number provided about eleven times throughout the day and I got no answer. When I tried to leave a message, it said that the mailbox was full. I was extremely aggravated that I was unable to reach the office and discuss my information over the phone. I ended up driving to the office and a nurse was able to see me and discuss my results. Nevertheless, it is the principle that I should not have to drive to my doctors office just to speak with a patient representative, especially when they had left me a message saying to call them back. I am going to finish up with my current doctor regarding my lab results and then never utilize Capital Area Health Network again. It is a shame that the Bermuda Medical Center is right across the street from me, which is why I chose it in the first place, and I will now have to drive further just to get good patient service.
