They lied to my ex-wife. They stated that the gamma-knife was the same as Proton Theropy. The Truth is Gamma knife destroys much more healthy tissue, never and cells than Proton.

Absolutely love this hospital! I had my son here and had a great stay. The nurses were sweet and came every time I needed help. Nobody pushed anything I didn't want during labor. They had a bath to labor in. The food was okay, I wish I could have picked what I ate. They did give out free steak dinners to all the mothers that had babies that week. The hospital was clean and the birthing rooms were spacious and set up nice. I only wish the VPFW OB wasn't connected because I dislike them.

Great service and wonderful staff. I was only there for just over 24 hours. All staff were very attentive. Been in a number of hospitals over my 81 years and this was by far the best.

Last night I went to the ER because I had severe pain in my neck/throat area. The doctor came in, listened to me take 2 deep breaths, felt my neck and told me I had a neck strain. She offered me Percocet and Valium and discharged me. All of that occurred in less that 2 minutes. I told her and the nurse that it wasn't the same type of pain as a neck strain because I've had those before. They told me to take the Valium and go home and get some sleep. I refused my prescription and drove to St. Francis. Turns out my lymph nodes are swollen and I have stones. Will NEVER go back to Johnston Willis again. I've never felt so dismissed my a doctor before in my life.

It is a good Hospital, great Dr's, ER and top notch equipment.nBut the nursing staff are unprofessional, UNMOTIVATED, bad attitude and VERY SLOW. The food is awful, even soup and pudding are the worst ever. It seems like they go out of their way to make everything taste terrible. I think it would be great for an out patient but hope you don't get checked in here.
