Excellent providers, but hardly any nurses in the ER! Whats happening? COVID is destroying our medical system! It should never take 7 hours to clean a deep wound and get antibiotics to a patient. I am grateful for the care. But lord knows the Nurses and Drs need more help here!!!

So very thankful for the staff at this hospital. Everything was above and beyond what I expected. My son and I really appreciate all the hard work and dedication.

My son was referred to the Endocrinologist at Seattle Children’s, after battling his primary doctors for several months in what could be wrong with him. After meeting with the team here, the Doctor ordered one last test just in case - even after we provided answers that didn’t necessarily fit possibly needing that last blood test. I am forever grateful they did though! They discovered very high numbers in a Celiac Disease blood test and had us schedule an appt with the Gastroenterologist at Seattle Children’s who confirmed the diagnosis through an endoscopy. Since this diagnosis beginning of March, 2020, my son has grown 7 inches and 35 pounds - in 8 months! This has truly helped him both physically and mentally and we are forever grateful for the doctors at Seattle Children ❤ufe0f Thank you so much for forever changing the course of his life and for listening to our concerns, when his primary doctors wouldn’t ud83dude4f

My wife and I took the day off work for an appointment for my son. We traveled over from Eastern Washington just to find out that they are only allowing one parent into the appointment with the children. I was told I had to wait outside of the hospital after we arrived. If you have an appointment here you better call before had to make sure both parents are allowed inside during the appointment. We arrived around 3:30pm; hand the keys off the the FREE valet parking. Come back back out to the parking lot two hours later only to find out that they close the valet parking at 5pm so I called the hospital to find out where my keys and vehicle were located. Well sir you have to go to the first floor and wait in line for your keys at the front desk then go walk around the massive parking lot for 30 minutes hitting your panic button on your key fob to locate your vehicle. What a mess! Very disappointed in the customer service and the way they do business.

Doctors and stuff are friendly. Child's Life workers makes a big difference for child's experience in the hospital. The post surgery recovery department's walls, flors and baseboards looks dirty. One of the sink in the room is draining poorly. TV, drapes, and furniture (including patient bed) are very old. Hope, Seattle Children's will renovates it eventually. iPad in the room is greatly appreciated! Main concern, that some caregivers, who are entering patient's room, are not wearing face mask correctly: their noses and mouths are totally visible. Wish this policy was more strict. At least, for patients, who are taking chemotherapy and really cannot afford to be exposed to viruses, in the era, when Covid-19 is sweeping across the country.
