Everyone was completely rude!

I have gone to VM for my primary care for several years and have always had a great experience. I love my doctor and enjoy interacting with the scheduling/nursing/reception/lab staff. I just got a bill for 14 months ago, that insurance had readjusted their payment and so now I had an amount due. When I called VM billing to ask about it, the woman made a courtesy adjustment for me since the bill was so old. I can't say enough good things about the service here, I hope I never have to change providers.

Great place, fabulous people! Go if you need them

I cannot emphasize enough how terrible this clinic is. They don’t even deserve a single star rating. I called in to make an appointment because I was feeling very ill with flu-like symptoms. The scheduler informed me that I had to speak with a nurse before she could schedule me. The nurse triaged me over the phone and told me I have the cold virus that has been going around. She highly discouraged me from making an appointment as the waiting area might expose me to other illnesses. She also stated that they wanted to save the appointments for those who truly need it and not “waste appointments”. This was after I explained to her that I have never felt so ill in my life. She went on to suggest that I call back if I was not well within 10 days or if I had difficulty breathing, or that my other option was to go to urgent care. I decided to go to a different clinic where they diagnosed me with the flu (as I suspected) after a simple nose swab. It is completely unethical to turn people away who are seeking medical care!

Not sure why the review is bad here. I have been going to this medical for my annual check up and the experience has always been positive and above the expectation. The processes were streamlined so I did not have to wait at all amongst different stations such as seeing the doctor, lab work, first checkup with the assistant doing weight check, blood pressure check, temperature etc. Highly recommended.
