There are good doctors within the Kaiser Bellevue facility, however they are cogs in the system. The patient has to jump through so many hoops to get the treatment they need. The doctors are handcuffed with the treatment they are able to provide, basic and bare bones! I can’t wait until November, when I can find doctors that are actually able to treat me properly in a timely manner! Unfortunately that isn’t Kaiser.
Dr. Liu and Nancy were incredibly kind and welcoming during my exams and shots. They made me feel comfortable and taken care of. Kaiser is lucky to have them both! Highly recommend ❤ufe0f
Normally I get very standardized service you’ve expected from Kaiser. Today’s phone call to my care team just destroyed my day.nCall to simply ask to have them send my lab results to my doctor. This lady insisted I come in person to sign a release for this. Has she heard there’s pandemic going on now! She already verified who I’m and spend ten minutes telling me why she can’t help me.nThis person should not be at position for customer contact. Totally incompetent to say at least. All this because their member online wasn’t working for several times past week and I had to deal with this incompetent care team member who doesn’t care.nCall their customer service line. The lady happily took care my request in less than three minutes. Day & night different.nGo find different career for the first one.
Staff on the phone were very nice and helpful. Their website and phone system is HORRIBLE. I thought Comcast was the worst company to deal with until I had to address Kaiser
I would be super concerned to have flu shots done at this location for seniors this year, during pandemic. I took my 79 years old dad there around 10am Saturday, 10/3/2020, to have his flu shot. He didn’t have insurance, so I paid it out of pocket. We were checked- in by an attendant. Before she gave the injection to my dad, the nurse verified he was born in 1941, but did not mention a word that he was senior and should have higher dosage. The syringe cylinder she had for him had a blue ring.nOn Sunday, 10/4/2020, when I had my injection at the same location. I noticed three types of syringes on my nurse’s working table. She used the one with blue ring as same as my Dad got on Saturday. That raised an immediate concern if my dad had received the correct dosage. I went to the cashier and verified that I paid $87.00 for senior dosage. The cashier tried to convince me that my dad received the high dosage. I said to her your computer only showed I paid high dosage, but his syringe had a blue ring, exactly the same as mine. I went back to my nurse and asked why there were three colors of syringes on the table and she explained that they were for different groups of people. The one has blue ring is standard dosage. I explained to her what happened to my dad and was informed at this point he could not receive additional dosage and there was nothing they would do but hope standard dosage be effective on him, a 79 year old senior. The nurse made the error had a very bad attitude and tried to deny she made mistake. I asked them if they have video cameras. My nurse was very nice and filed a complaint for me.nI am very upset that my dad didn’t get the correct dosage in extreme crucial year with Covid 19 out-break and he will travel soon. There is nothing we can do at this point to make it right. I don’t want this happen to other seniors. Kaiser Permanente needs to implement safety cross-check procedures to make sure seniors are getting the correct dosages.nBTW, my dad’s nurse even didn’t wear gloves when giving injections. That is a huge red flag in the pandemic.
