Professional and caring staff! Great hospital! My surgery felt like VIP service, great care!

I am saddened to hear some of these reviews from patients who had such horrific experiences at Overlake hospital. I worked at Overlake and I do admit it was several years ago. But I still bothered with how that hospital treats it’s nurses and other core staff. Nurses need support to do the work that we do and to do it in a way that’s consistently safe for the patients. Overlake is bar far the worst hospital I’ve ever worked for when it comes to supporting their nurses in a positive and healthy way I wish I had room to give a few examples for everyone b because I’ve got some horrific stories that would leave you quite shocked to put it mildly. My advice is the same as others have mentioned. If u can, go across the street to the other hospital. If there is one thing you don’t want to take any chances with, it’s your health it is what I tell my family to do. If that’s not possible I would arrange to have someone stay with them during their stay, and arrange for family member to stay overnights as well. Don’t leave them alone to fend for themselves in such a placennI’m really sorry to have read about the person who had their foot amputated as a result of that hospitals unprofessionalism and lack of care. So wrong in any way you spin it. My thoughts are with you. I hope you are doing better after such an awful ordeal to go through. Their incompetence is astounding to put it mildly. Yeah, people, go to a different hospital! Please!

Had hip replacement surgery. All medical personnel were professional and extremely caring. Dr. Brent Anderson was outstanding. I wouldn't go anywhere else regarding hospitalization!!

If the person you love is in ICU and you would like informative staff and wish to speak to an actual Doctor, it would probably be easier to schedule an appointment with God.nnOverlake over the years has been a haven for me and my family during a medical situation and/or surgery.nnCurrently it is a hot mess. Communication between staff is beyond dysfunctional.nnIf you have a choice avoid this place.

Place is packedddd. Pretty covid conscious and clean though. Screening at every entry point. Masks required. Staff is kind, experienced, and knowledgeable. Parking in pretty easy and the walk to the hospital from the parking structure is actually inside the hospital, so no exposure to Seattle weather. I think parking is free up til 1 hour.
