Stopped by for a quick drink on a road trip and ran in to some great people at the bar. Friendly and welcoming. Great old mining town too.
Friendliest people and best fun around
Actually, I was looking for Berlin / Nevada and the history of the abandoned miners' settlement on Google Maps. In short, extremely interesting and definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. With the pictures of the place you can almost touch the story. Not far from Berlin is the town of Manhattan. Dusty streets make you thirsty and so I stopped in the Manhatten Bar for an imaginary drink.nIt is hard to believe what a cozy atmosphere I received there. The people in particular are very personable and you are welcomed like an old friend. The rustic impression from the outside continues inside the bar. The walls are lovingly decorated with everything that can be hung on the wall. The photos on the website give a great impression, this is exactly how you imagine a bar in nowhere.nShould I ever end up in Las Vegas, there will definitely be a real trip with a rental car in this area.
