Awesome, home cooked breakfast and lunch spot.

My wife and I like the hole in the wall places. They always have the best food and this place fits the description perfect. As soon as we walked in it smelled amazing. Unfortunately the young lady that was waiting tables and seating people was quite rude to us. She said it was a 20 min wait but we had to wait outside due to COVID. So we waited in our car cause we had our 2 year old daughter with us and we did not want to wait in the cold. She said she would call my wife's phone when the table was ready. We waited a half hour and no call. So I went to check to see if the table was ready. When I went back to check the young lady said she had called us and we did not answer so we missed our table. I told her we did not receive a call. I asked her what number she had and it was correct but we did not get a call. She gave me a lot of attitude and said let me see what I can do. She walked over and rechecked the tables and said ya go ahead and come in it's fine. The call log on my wife's phone had 0 recent missed calls but with an attitude like that we decided we don't want people that are frustrated with us serving us food so we just left. The other thing that was upsetting is while we where waiting two other separate cars pulled in and went inside and when I went to check the table the other people that pulled in the parking lot had been seated without waiting.

I have lived here for many years and have always enjoyed the CB, but today was without a doubt the worst meal that I’ve ever had. I order to go and by the time I got home (living less than 2 miles away) the container was soaking wet from the steam. I’ve mentioned the problem with the to-go boxes before but they tell me that the owner is unwilling to change them. My breakfast was almost $20 and pretty much inedible ☹ufe0f

My son and I decided to stop here for a late brunch after my son's soccer game. Saturday morning about 10am. It was busy with people waiting. They said it would be about 20mins for a table, but only took 5-10. Son ordered some orange juice, it was fresh squeezed and delicious, about $4.50. I ordered the special, pumpkin pie pancakes, which were honestly the best pancakes I've ever had, $6-7. Son ordered eggs and bacon. The bacon was over done and too crispy for my taste or my son's and was $4.50 for a side of bacon. 2 eggs about $2.50. I didn't know until the end that it was cash or check only. I rarely carry cash or a debit card. They were gracious and said I could return to pay, which I did a couple of hours later. Overall, pancakes were amazing, service was great, bacon was less than average and really expensive for a side of bacon, orange juice-delicious. certainly a hassle that credit cards or apple pay aren't accepted. will go back if only for the pancakes and will bring cash ;)
