J-Bar

Unfortunate experience tonight at J-Bar. Walked in and got on the wait list at 7:10. Was told we were behind one group and it should be anywhere from 10-45 minutes. At 50 minutes I checked back in to find out the approximate wait was another 45 mins with now 3 parties in front of us! Truly displayed that if you want to dine at this establishment you better dress nice as it will affect when you get seated.

the service and food here was OUTSTANDING. Akshay was our server and was so attentive and sweet. The manager Chris was kind and chatted with me and my father during our lunch here. Great food, great vibes, 100% recommend. great veggie options for vegetarians, and for the meat eaters, the burger I got was cooked perfectly.

So much history here. The food and drinks are excellent. The atmosphere is wonderful.

Best burger in town. Worth the wait (no reservations) and worth the $$$. A must-visit while in Aspen.

Food was decent but service was lacking. First dish arrived way before my drink (only a Coca Cola), and the restaurant charged $3 to cut a burger in half. I’m not the type to support this type of robbery.
