We really enjoyed having lunch here. The meatloaf mountain is huge, so you should be either really hungry or prepared to take some home! We also got a loaf of the homemade jalapeño cheddar bread. It's really good with cream cheese. We hope to visit again soon!

From the first moment you come to this place they give you a great feeling. Very hospitable crew, it is a friendly place to hang out with friends and colleagues or with your date. Great meals, experienced chef, modest pay and nice service. Warmly recommended.

Stopped with family the homemade bread is great. The rest of the food was ok. Had a meatloaf sandwich which the meatloaf was burnt and dry. The 1/3 that wasn't was good. Service was good. The restaurant is cute and has a nice patio.

Been here twice, phone ordered once. Awesome folks and food. Seems like they're located in a historical district of a beautiful town. Everything has been great when I have ordered.

The Happy Cooker is small, so I don't recommend large groups, especially during COVID times, when seating is limited. The patio, I'm sure is a great place to sit and enjoy the views, the food and people watch, but being here in January, left it up to the imagination. The menu is varied, but not overwhelming, and the prices are reasonable for what you get. Staff was kind, kept the place clean and sanitized and the food came out quickly. The food was okay, but it could've been the option I ordered. TnI had the Biscuits and Gravy with sausage links and a side of home fries. I don't think the items were made from scratch, but I think you get what you pay for.
