It's really unfair other people base their reviews on calls they made. I haven't gone to a doctor about my concerns because I've been very nervous on top of not having insurance. From beginning to end, every single staff member was very nice and made me feel comfortable. It's true that getting an appointment through the phone is a bit nerve-wracking since when i called there were apparently 15 people ahead of me. I just hung up and showed up asking for any appointment they could give me and they were nice enough to help me with one the following week. Every concern was addressed and i felt pretty stupid for waiting so long while this place exists

I am very torn about the amount of stars to give Planned Parenthood Mar Monte. I have been having appointments for gender affirming care with them since late August. My previous endocrinologist was awful and, after my first appointment through Planned Parenthood, I finally felt like I had found a great provider who actually knew what they were doing when it came to HRT. My issue is mainly with how difficult it is to get ahold of anyone. I live in Stockton and the closest Planned Parenthood to me that offers gender affirming care is in Sacramento, that paired with COVID-19 and a full time job means that for me it is not plausible to just drop by and speak to someone in person. Wait times for the call center are often long but this is no issue with their callback feature, however it's almost always a 50/50 on if I'll actually be called back or not. The only way to speak to your doctors directly is through the patient portal, which has proven to be an issue when I am running out of medication with no refills left and I have to wait multiple days to receive a reply. Appointments are hard to come by and I had to wait 50 minutes after my scheduled time to actually begin my phone appointment - and that was just the intake! When I called the center to ask about what was going on I was just told that they weren't ready and didn't know when they would be. After the initial intake I was told that the doctor still wasn't ready (an hour past my scheduled appointment time at this point) and that I'd be getting a call back when he was. It was at this point that I found out I had been randomly scheduled with a different doctor than I had previously seen, though I had been told before that it would be the same doctor. The nurses and doctors are honestly great, they know what they're doing and it really seems like they care... It's just so frustrating how difficult it is to get that care, I'm already over a month past due for labs that I can't get until I have an appointment that's not available until a month from now and am also out of refills that I can't get until the labs are done, what am I supposed to do? Lastly I'd just like to mention that most of the staff who I've spoken to have been very respectful in using my preferred name and pronouns, however I was taken a bit by surprise when the women who I spoke with at the call center randomly used my deadname after I had only told her the name that I use and that is on file for me. I wish I could give Planned Parenthood Mar Monte 5 stars, there have just unfortunately been more frustrating experiences than positive ones at this point.

The women who gives me my birth control is so sweet but the women who answer the phones are so rude. I asked her to repeat my appointment date and I got a huge sigh and “hold on now I’m going to have to go back into your appointment date” like ma’am I’m sorry I couldn’t hear youud83dude12 she sounded very uninterested in what she was doing and was very rude the whole time.. do y’all even listen to the recordings? Fix your customer service

Lady at the call center is very unhelpful. Makes it a very hostile environment and doesn’t care or help the people. She’s very rude. Very contradicting. Seems like this is a reoccurring problem for you guys. Probably should do something about it because she is the main reason you get 1 star reviews. She might not be a part of the clinic but the call center.

Horrible costomer service showed up on time to be told we were late .been waiting hours now seems like they discriminate against anyone who doesnt speak Espanol its sad were here taking care of what needs to be done for a employee to screw us over on our apointment to let someone else in
