Let me say, we have absolutely loved this place and their food in the past. We have been a couple of times, and today, it was just awful. The waitress from the start was just rude. We wanted mixed drinks and she rudely said they only offer beer and wine. I asked what they had for local brews and she took my menu and opened it to the beer section and showed me. After we ordered our drinks, we had ordered the Clam chowder to start. She insisted the seafood chowder was better, and we had to reiterate twice we wanted the clam chowder to start. We ordered our entrees at the same time. Well we got our entrees before our clam chowder. The food was subpar, not at all like it was the previous time we were there. The waitress didn’t check on us the entire time we were there, asking if we wanted any additional beverages. Let’s just say...Worst experience we have ever had dining at a restaurant, and we will not go back again.

Staff is overworked, but make it happen. They welcome all manner of people and make them feel like family. We had farm-fresh mussels - like everyone should. Chowder was amazing. Fish & chips were decent.

Awesome service, awesome staff. This was my first time ever to have mussels, and they were very tasty. I think we only Purchased a quarter of a pound, but they were pretty good for my first time. The beer was also good, after the mussels we went and walked around and then came back for more beer and then I tried their fish and chips (holy smokes they were absolutely fantastic) and just to hang out and visit. The prices were affordable for a vacation spot. When we go back again to Whidbey island we will definitely go there, thanks for a great time!!!

I ordered a Swiss dip to-go. The lady on the phone was great and picking up was easy.nThe sandwich itself had issues. There was no Au Jus, instead I got coleslaw. The meat inside was all bunched up on one side. Other then that everything seemed fine.
