Always a favorite...good wine and cocktails as well as a really nice menu.nStaff is awesome
James Place has become our favorite local hangout, especially on Fridays! James, Alexis, Brandon, Lauren and Jeremy are so welcoming and very entertaining if you are lucky enough to get a seat at the bar. Environment warm with some funk and eclectic mix of tunes. Food is always delicious and frequently followed by a visit from Chef John. Our favorites include the walleye, flatbread and seasonal specialty salads. In addition, we appreciate their efforts to give us an opportunity to spend time with family and friends in a safe space. BRAVO!

Ate outside. Tables were at least 6 ft apart according to Covid guidelines and can seat 4 comfortably. Food was outstanding, as was the service! Jeremy was our waiter. Had halibut with rice and vegetables. Halibut was mild, seasoned perfectly, as were the rice and vegetables. Restrooms are always very clean. Highly recommend
Came in for pickup while my husband waited outside. Instead of being served, a worker went outside and asked my husband what he was doing. I noticed what was going on and had to explain I was here for pickup and that he was just waiting outside for me. We have been here several times before, and my in-laws come here frequently, once a week to eat. We have never never encountered this before made us feel like our business was not wanted there.
