Stopped for lunch and had the tavern salad and margarita pizza. The inside is very updated and modern. The salad was absolutely delicious. Usually I eat a salad because I have to, but this one actually tasted wonderful. The pizza was obviously made with fresh ingredients. It was so delicious! Highly recommend!!
Our family really enjoys going to 1815 tavern. They have friendly staff and a nice outdoor seating arrangement. The menu is limited, but they do everything well. Great place for drinks/cocktails too.
Very quaint place in Aurora. The food is very delicious. We all split several plates. Had brussels, tavern salad, pickled beet salad, half roasted chicken, and the walleye. Everything was cooked to perfection and presentable. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes. The patio even though it was closed due to being in winter looks like it would be a fun happening spot in the summer.
We waited in the bar to be seated at 3om when their dinner menu opened, which was no problem. But then almost 20 minutes passed after that and no one even acknowledged our presence. Very disappointing, especially since there were only 2 other small groups in the restaurant.
Fantastic meal on a lovely patio. The Brussel sprouts with pork belly and maple glaze were outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp and crab cake in a decedent sauce. My entree was the Walleye..nDelicious risotto accompanied it. Highly recommend 1815 Tavern
