Brew Cheese, Northport

Food was good as well. the local beers on tap was great!. But we came in around 6pm. And we didn't have a reservation. But they still seated us.

Great local beer, big cheese selection, amazing food (best pretzel nuggets) and fantastic staff.

Have been a regular Brew Cheese customer for years. Have loved their sandwiches & beer selection, so write this review with sadness.nnService has gone from great to bad to down right awful. A month ago, production of a sandwich order with 2 customers ahead of us took 45 minutes (Stonybrook site). Last weekend, we visited the Northport shop. With one person ahead of us (beer order) and over half their outdoor tables empty we ordered 2 sandwiches. After 40 minutes we noticed tables around us were now filled, orders had been served, meals eaten and new customers were now getting their food. I checked with staff & was assured our sandwiches would be out shortly. At 50 minutes of waiting I asked again. Then they admitted that after charging our credit card they lost our order. The server also noted our sandwiches could not be made quickly. He didn’t even offer a bag of chips or soup to go.nnI lack the words to describe this appalling customer service. Brew Cheese staff lied about the status of our order, taking away our option to get food elsewhere. It took 4 days to get the charge taken off our credit card.

It was delicious! Looking forward to my next visit

I would like to give this restaurant a five star rating because the grilled cheese sandwiches are out of this world but the service is so terrible I can’t. Each time I have been here with a friend and even though we ordered at the same time. One sandwich would come right away the next a half hr later. So we could not eat together. This time they forgot my boyfriends sandwich completely although he reminded them three times. I could not understand that. I think the staff is nice but not paying attention to there job. They are to busy listening to music and dancing around. They offered us bags of chips as if that made up for the aggravation and insult. And once the waitress shorts were so tiny her butt cheeks showed every time she turned around. Not something you want to see when you are ordering food with your family. So be prepared for great food but an inattentive, confused staff.
