The Cottage Inn

I really went in wanting to love this place but...I couldn't. My burger was really good but my fries were dark brown and cooked to death. My wife's hot turkey sandwich looked and tasted like it was made from deli sliced turkey not fresh roasted turkey. The iced tea tasted like it was from a can. I had heard really good things about this place but I wasn't impressed.

One of my favorite places to stop while snowmobiling. My crew makes it a point to ride up and eat at The Cottage on pretty much every trip.

The food at cottage in is very good. However, my wife has a severe food allergy. We asked the waitress if one of the dishes was made with the ingredient. She was gone for about a minute and came back and said it was not in the dish. Usually waitresses take a lot longer as they have to check labels and it is not a common allergen. Needless to say, my wife had an allergic reaction because the waitress did not actually check. I doubt we will return to this restaurant.

Really good food, excellent happy staff, a little pricey for lunch. Easy to get to from the snowmobile trail, very nice setying.
