The prices were great for the portions. The place was packed on a Saturday night so dinner reservations are recommended.nnThe scallops appetizer were fantastic. Lightly breaded and pan seared over a beef of fresh arugula in a citrus sauce.nnThe patio wasn't open when we visited because of the temperature outside.

Love this place. Love everything about it. Can't recommend it enough. Very good quality of food, drinks and service.

The bar rocks. Great drinks and service. The restaurant had good food and service. The hotel was OK. No problem making a reservation. The hallways were hot, no AC. We got a king room and the furniture to space ratio was off. Not enough to move comfortably around. The floors are not level either. Felt like walking up and down hill.

Service was poor. They were busy but the waitress ignored us until we asked what happened to our dinners. People seated after us served before us by at least 15 minutes. They had a different waitress so it may have been an issue with our waitress. First time there, not sure if we will go back. Food was good.

There are a lot of good things to say about the hotel and the restaurant - clean, good food, friendly staff, very nice rooms, and very affordable. But, we stayed here 2 weekends in a row and noise was a problem both times for different reasons.nnPeople leaving the bar at closing were pretty loud for 2 am on a residential street. Not the hotel'[s fault but annoying anyway.nnOn the 2nd occasion, there was a music act (sounded great) but even after we went to our room, it was like we were in the bar instead of upstairs. I couldn't get to sleep until the bar closed. :(nnIf you're a light sleeper, don't take a room on the bar side unless it's on the 3rd floor (not sure if that's enough) or on the other side of the building.
